The art-blog is often far from my thoughts, nowadays: I spend quite a lot of time playing on Facebook, and I can take only so many hours in front of my computer. But yesterday I saw a movie I loved, The Boat that Rocked, by Richard Curtis, and I want to say I enjoyed it. Especially details like the fake princess Anne and prince Charles, rescuing the drowning DJs...
The story is of a pirate radio, situated on a boat at the time (1966) when private radios were forbidden, and of the DJs crew on one side, and their enemies in the establishment on the other. The dancing and sympathetic listeners are to be seen in between. Well, my summary is rather poor, but the film is really amusing.

L'art -blog è per lo più lontano dai miei pensieri in questi mesi, passo molto tempo a giocare con Facebook e non riesco a passare più di tnat eore davanti al computer. Ma ieri ho visto un film che mi è piaciuto, The Boat that Rocked, di Richard Curtis.
Mi sono piaciuti specialmente dettagli come la finta principessa Anna e il finto principe Carlo d'Inghilterra, che soccorrevano i DJ naufraghi...
La storia è quella di una radio pirata, situata su una nave al largo dell'Inghilterra, in acque extraterritoriali. Veri pirati, insomma. Da una parte i DJ, dall'altra i ministri che non apprezzano, e in mezzo il pubblico di ascoltatori che canta e balla e partecipa.
Lo ammetto, il mio riassunto è modesto, ma il film è proprio divertente.
