The French go on inventing new words and concepts and I get lost, they call the installations "dispositif" and it took me some years to understand just that.
Life is difficult without having to make efforts understanding what the French artists and critics mean, when they refuse the words used all over the world of contemporary art (and in other fields too). And the dictionary doesn't know them.
I wonder if the public manages to follow them, or if they get lost like me.

I francesi continuano a inventare espressioni e concetti che mi ci perdo, tipo che chiamano "dispositif" le installazioni, ci ho messo anni a capire.
E' già difficile vivere, senza dover cercare a tutti i costi di capire che cosa vogliono dire gli artisti e i critici francesi, che rifiutano le parole utilizzate internazionalmente nel settore dell'arte contemporanea (e in molti altri campi). E il vocabolario non conosce questi nuovi significati.
Chissà se il pubblico riesce a seguire, o se si perde come faccio io.
