I was in Rome. I'm glad i'm back. Too noisy, bad traffic, terrible transports, worse city plans, and nowhere to put your garbage in. Well, of course it's a very beautiful city, though difficult to live in even for as little as 24 hours. A cup of coffee goes from 65 cents up to no limits. Deserted worksites or billboards hide every historical monument. Enough said.
Then I saw Caravaggio's paintings in San Luigi de' Francesi and after that everything looks wonderful to me.

Sono stata a Roma. Sono contenta di essere tornata. Troppo rumore, traffico incasinato, trasporti pubblici tremendi, difficile trovare un cestino dove buttare la spazzatura. Sì, è una città molto bella, ma non è facile viverci neanche per 24 ore. Una tazza di caffè va da 65 centesimi fino a chissà dove. Cantieri deserti nascondono tutti i monumenti storici, e altrimenti è la pubblicità. Smetto per amor di patria.
Poi vedo i Caravaggio di san Luigi de' Francesi e mi passa tutto. Ma come mai sono stati i francesi, e non gli italiani, a farlo dipingere così?
