Le poste italiane non sono certo le più efficienti d'Europa, ma sono fra le più care. Una lettera spedita in Italia costa 6 centesimi più che in Francia, e viaggia più lenta e meno sicura. Cambiano spesso le tariffe, così mi è successo varie volte che buttassero via le mie buste, non sufficientemente affrancate, perché una volta la posta arrivava lo stesso, e il destinatario pagava la differenza; adesso buttano. O rubano? E siccome le cose che spedisco sono DVD e cataloghi, mi capita di perdere buone occasioni per questa storia. E soldi, anche.
Sì, potrei andare all'ufficio postale e mettermi in coda ogni volta che mando una busta, ma non ho voglia di farlo varie volte alla settimana. E le macchinette per l'affrancatura non esistono, o non hanno mai funzionato.

Italian mail certainly are not the most efficient in Europe, but they are among the most expensive. To send a letter in Italy costs 6 cents more than in France, and takes longer to arrive, if ever.
