I was interviewed the other day, because of the exhibition (BabelFood, remember?) I'm going to open tonight, and the journalist, a very cultivated and intelligent man, asked me to tell something more than what I'm prepared to admit. I'm just an artist, after all, not an economist nor a philosopher. But what we said is worrying me, and influencing my project for a performance.
I always say that I shouldn't talk too soon about ideas. But then, I've been working for years on this project. Yet it can still surprise and worry me.

Sono stata intervistata l'altro giorno, per via della mostra che inauguro stasera (BabelFood), e il giornalista, un uomo molto colto e intelligente, mi chiedeva di dire cose che non voglio dire. Sono solo un artista, dopo tutto, non un economista o un filosofo. Ma quello cha abbiamo discusso mi preoccupa e sta influenzando il mio progetto per la performance che farņ.
Lo dico sempre: non bisogna parlare troppo presto di un'idea. Ma d'altra parte, questa č una cosa su cui lavoro da anni. Eppure, riesce ancora a sorprendermi e preoccuparmi.
