Fanno ricerche statistiche su quanti hanno il computer a casa, e si scandalizzano perché il 40% degli italiani, così arretrati (non lo dicono espilcitamente ma è chiaramente fra le righe) non ce l'ha.
Io non potrei vivere senza, ma non ho l'automobile, per esempio. E neanche la tv, benché paghi il canonee: vedo solo i video, non ho l'antenna. Eppure non sono arretrata, anzi, e inquino un po' meno (ho altri difetti, ovviamente).

They make statistics on how many people have a computer at home, and find it a scandal because the backwards Italians (that's surely what they imply) don't have it.
I couldn't live without one, myself, but then I don't have a car, nor a tv (except for videos), and yet I'm not backward at all. I even pollute a lot less (though I have other faults, obviously).
