Yesterday the temperature was around 0 °C but someone went swimming anyway. Other people watched, wearing woollen hats and gloves. The ocean was calm and beautiful and the waiters real bad.

The second one, the next day at lunch, had a problem with a foreigner and laughed at him telling all the other clients what happened (what she actually didn't understand) while he was there. The restaurants to avoid are Le PasSage and Les Colonnes.
I usually take the parts of French waiters, but sometimes they are real rude with foreigners. Even with the French-speaking ones.

Ieri la temperatura era intorno allo zero ma qualcuno che andava a nuotare c'era lo stesso. Gli altri guradavano, con sciarpa berretto guanti di lana. L'oceano era calmo e bello e i camerieri pessimi.
Il primo, venerdì sera, era un omosessulae sarcastico e sgradevole, del tipo che è competitivo e aggressivo con le donne. Pensavo che fossero in via di disparizione, ma evidentemente ne resta qualcuno, come certi brutti ricordi giovanili.
La seconda, sabato a pranzo, aveva un problema con uno straniero e rideva di lui dicendo a tutti gli altri clienti che cosa stava succedendo (quello che di fatto non aveva capito lei) in sua presenza. Gli hanno anche fatto pagare quello che non aveva mangiato, senza chiedergli scusa. Se n'è andato dicendo che era uno scandalo, e aveva perfettamente ragione. Poi hanno cercato di farmi pagare un conto che era il doppio del mio. I ristoranti da evitare sono Le PasSage e Les Colonnes.
Di solito prendo le difese dei camerieri francesi, ma certe volte sono davvero maleducati con gli stranieri. Anche con quelli che parlano bene francese.
