C'è il ghiaccio per le strade, nelle pozzanghere. Le vetrine che solo l'altro giorno esponevano in saldo giacche chiare e leggere, utilizzabili in primavera, oggi si drappeggiano in sciarpe, berretti e guanti di lana.

There's ice on the streets, in the puddles. Shop windows that only the other day were trying to sell the springiest sale items, like lightwight, light colored jackets, are draped now in wool scarves, hats and gloves.
