Erano tutti disperati dopo quindici passati a casa in vacanze coatte, i milanesi. A parte quelli in montagna con i bambini,voglio dire (e lā non c'era la neve).
Facevano code interminabili perfino per un panino, davanti a cinema e mostre, sulle scale mobili dei grandi magazzini, davanti alle vetrine aspettando i saldi.
La nostra vita di cittā č basata su un ritmo lavoro-tempo libero 5-2, e molte convivenze non reggono facilmente all'ozio obbligatorio, allo stare sempre insieme.
Per non parlare dei servizi inesistenti, come dimostra la vicenda del mio computer. L'unica cosa che funzionava erano i trasporti.

They queued up for anything, from sandwiches to cinemas, from art shows to escalators in malls, or in front of shop windows waiting for the sales.
Our city life is based on a 5-2 work-leisure time rhythm, and many couples find it difficult to manage with a long compulsive holiday, being always together.
Not to mention the unexisting services (see my computer thing). The only thing working was public transport.
