I know I should write my art-blog either in English or in American, and instead I never choose the "right" (one-sided) spelling: laziness, of course, but most of all the reason is that for me, and probably for most foreigners reading it easily but speaking it only when travelling or working, English is but one, and this kind of differences seem no more important than local accents and styles.
But then I need to talk, and find it a lot less easy than writing. It's no more a matter of English or American spelling, sometimes I cannot even find basic words.

So che dovrei scrivere l'art-blog in inglese o in americano, e invece non scelgo mai un solo stile: per pigrizia forse, ma soprattutto perché per me, e probabilmente per la maggior parte degli stranieri che leggono l'inglese correntemente ma lo parlano solo in viaggio o per lavoro, l'inglese è uno solo, e queste differenze per noi suonano poco importanti, sfumature dialettali, colore locale.
Ma poi devo parlare, e mi pare molto meno facile che scrivere. Altro che inglese o americano, in certi momenti mi mancano le parole base!
