Gérard de Vaal è un umorista e disegna stupende vignette per i suoi clienti francesi, e fumetti per qualche libro. Da quando a Milano ci sono i biglietti del tram elettronici ripenso spesso a una sua vignetta per la metropolitana parigina, intitolata "I nuovi biglietti del métro sono più performanti". Dal tornello esce una voce computerizzata che dice al passeggero: "Ti chiami Robert, sono le nove e 27 e hai la patta aperta".

Gérard de Vaal is a cartoonist and draws wonderful vignettes for his French clients, and strips for some books. Since when they put electronic tickets on Milan trams, I often thinkof one cartoon of his for the Paris underground, with the title "The new métro tickets are more performing". From the gate comes a synthetized voice saying to the passenger "You're Robert, it's 9:27 and your fly is open".
