Ho trovato bellissima, divertente e profonda la mostra di Agnès Varda alla Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain, Paris, dedicata ai suoi rapporti con l'isola di Noirmoutier. Un'esposizione piena di idee e di emozione, ma anche sinceramente giocosa. L'artista ha quasi ottant'anni, e io penso che fa bene invecchiare, se si diventa così spiritosi e leggeri pur dicendo cose importanti. (Varda non è la sola donna di quell'età che conosco che sia capace di quella profondità e di quel sorriso.)
Alla fine ero sazia d arte e assetata di qualità nel mio lavoro. Per fortuna nel giardino c'era una capanna con un piccolo bar.

I saw the Agnès Varda's exhibition at Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain, Paris, and found it wonderful, deep and funny. Dedicated to the island of Noirmoutier, the show is full of ideas and emotions, but also sincerely amusing. The artist is almost eighty, if getting older can give you all that lightness and humour even when talking about important things. (Varda is not the only woman that age with that depth and smile.)
At the end I was very satisfied with art and very thirsty of more quality in my work. Luckily in the garden there was a cabin with a small cafè.
