In the September education issue of frieze Jonathan Meese rages against the mechanisms of art schools and laments his own education in an excerpt from his recent performance at Deichtorhallen in Hamburg while Jan Verwoert, whose own parents were taught by Joseph Beuys, asks whether Beuys hoped to undermine the role of authority figures by becoming one himself.

Nel numero di settembre di frieze Jonathan Meese si scatena contro i meccansimi delle scuole d'arte e critica la propria edicazione in un estratto della sua recentge performance al Deichtorhallen di Amburgo, mentre Jan Verwoert, i cui genitori sono stati allievi di Joseph Beuys, si chiede se Beuys sperava di distruggere il ruolo dei maestri autorevoli diventando uno di loro.
