Two days ago, I made follow a call to petition "Let us stop the bloodbath in the Middle East!", which I in addition signed. It is in fact a serious error of mine because what I naively took for a call to peace what would actually be (I quote) a call “to the war and a handling of secret service”. A french friend wrote to me yesterday :
"we cannot anything against the geopolitical plays, the powerful men, only resistance for me through art, antithesis of the war appears me to be the only way, all these petitions are null and not avenues, nobody holds account of it when the showdowns are moving."
An NZ friend wrote to me yesterday :
"art does have power, let's hope that thru our work we can dream up & make real the kind of world we wish to work in..."
An american friend wrote to me yesterday :
"Peace is what we need. Take care with love"
I will not sign anything anymore, will not support anybody anymore in particular, but all the civil ones of the world because they are those who suffer...

Due giorni fa, ho inviato in forward una petizione "Fermiamo il bagno di sangue in Medio Oriente!" che per di più ho firmato. E' stato in effetti un mio grave errore, perché quello che ho preso ingenuamente per un invito alla pace era in realtà un invito (cito) "alla guerra e una manipolazione dei servizi segreti".. Un amico francese mi ha scritto ieri:
"non possiamo nulla contro i giochi geopolitici, gli uomini di potere, la sola resistenza per me è attraverso l'arte, l'antitesi della guerra mi pare la sola strada percorribile, tutte queste petizioni non servono a niente, nessuno ne tiene conto quando si arriva alle prove di forza."
un amico neozelandese mi ha scritto ieri:
"l'arte ha potere, speriamo che attraverso il nostro lavoro potremo sognare e rendere reale il tipo di mondo in cui vogliamo lavorare..."
un amico americano mi ha scritto ieri:
"Abbiamo bisogno di pace. Abbi cura di te, con amore"
Non firmerò più niente, non sosterrò più nessuno in particolare, tranne i civili del mondo perché sono loro che soffrono...
