Già Zidane era il solo calciatore protagonista di un film d'arte di 90 minuti e adesso abbaia nei video-giochi.
In qualche modo il fatto che sia bravo e che però si arrabbi tanto lo ha reso un eroe, più di quelli che seguono le regole.
(Scopro solo dopo che esiste un "caso Zidane" il cui mistero appassiona tutti quelli che hanno visto la finale dei mondiali.)
Me lo dico sempre: essere una brava ragazza è molto meno importante che essere una bravissima artista con un cattivo carattere. Anche se c'è sempre un arbitro o un senso di colpa, con il suo cartellino rosso.

Somehow, the fact that he's great but also quite easy to get into a rage made him a more famous hero than those who play by the rules.
(I later discover the existence of a mysterious "Zidane affair" that keeps in thrall those who have seen the world cup finals.)
I always tell myself that to be a nice girl is a lot less important than to be a bad-tempered great artist. Though there's always some referee or guilty feeling ready to send you off.
