Ho incontrato di recente due professionisti di 45 e 55 anni che erano venuti a Milano da Napoli e da Roma perché vent'anni fa ci si lavorava meglio, con clienti più importanti e sfide più interessanti. Adesso non è più così, e non sanno se tornare indietro o restare.
Che peccato, era una città piuttosto viva, una volta. Si poteva anche pensare, in certi ambienti.
Adesso sui muri appaiono scritte come "il futuro non è più quello di una volta".

I recently met two professionals, 45 and 55, who came away from Naples and Rome twenty years because in Milan jobs were of better quality, more challenging and interesting. Now it's not like that any more, and they don't know whether to go back or to stay.
What a pity, it used to be quite a lively town. One could also think, in some circles.
