Ma perché non si mettono d’accordo almeno sulle regole di base?
Ho avuto Nikon e Canon e tutte usavano P per dire che era il programma manuale (personale), e M per dire automatico. Adesso sto cercando di capire come funziona una Olympus, e la prima cosa che scopro è che lavora al contrario. Gli altri simboli sono uguali, questi due no. P vuol dire automatico, M manuale. Ma perché complicare la vita degli utenti? Immagina se i semafori fossero rossi in un paese, per dire stop, e verdi in un altro, sempre per dire stop. Immagina quanti incidenti. (Mi dicono che in Cina è quasi così.)

Why don’t they agree at least on basic rules?
I had both Nikon and Canon cameras and all used P to say “personal” and M to say “automatic”. Now I’m trying to learn how to work with an Olympus, and the first thing I know is that it works contrarywise: all other symbols means the same, those two the opposite. P means automatic, M manual. Why make customers’s life so difficult? Imagine red traffic lights meaning stop in a country, and green lights to say the same thing in another country. Imagine the number of accidents. (I’m told in China it’s so, more or less.)
