Every time I meet Lilly, who lives in Norfolk, she tells me that UK is not doing well at all. And yet we think of London as a very rich city, maybe because of the unfavorable change. I can see France is not doing well, and everyone knows Italy is sliding lower and lower. Let’s have a toast hoping for a better future, even though we all know these things don’t change overnight.

Ogni volta che vedo Lilly, che vive nel Norfolk, dice che l’UK non va affatto bene. Eppure noi pensiamo che Londra sia una città ricchissima, forse è colpa del cambio sfavorevole. Vedo che la Francia non sta tanto bene, e tutti sanno che l’Italia scivola sempre più in basso. Brindiamo sperando in un futuro migliore, anche se sappiamo che queste cose non cambiano in una notte.
