Mi raccontano che a Parigi ci sono quartieri grandi come città, dove esiste una sola scuola superiore, e chissà perché ci vanno anche quelli completamente negati per quella materia (nel caso, la contabilità). Basterebbe andare nel quartiere vicino. In compenso in Italia ci sono università in ogni capoluogo, il che mi pare altrettanto assurdo. Tanto più se penso a quello che leggevo l’altro giorno, che l’Italia ha meno laureati e più analfabeti di ritorno di quasi tutti gli altri paesi.

They tell me that in Paris there are neighborhoods as large as towns with no more than a specialized high school, and for some strange reason even those who absolutely don’t care for the specialization (in our case, accounting) go there. Why donìt they chose another school in the nearer neighborhood? On the other hand, in Italy we are creating universities in almost every town, which sounds absurd as well. More so when I think about what I read recently, that Italy has more illiterate and less graduated people than most other countries.
