This morning I was on a taxi, leaving Paris. The car radio said that the road police had stopped a couple of people in a car, and they asked four friends in as many cars to come and help them. What a cheek! Some of them had guns and blessed the policemen, not gravely. The first two have already been arrested, the others will probably be in jail soon… what did they think they were doing?

Stamattina ero su un taxi, partivo da Parigi. L’autoradio del tassista diceva che la polizia stradale aveva fermato due tipi in auto, e che questi avevano chiamato a difenderli quattro amici in altrettante macchine. Che faccia tosta! Di questi, qualcuno era armato e ha ferito i poliziotti, per fortuna non gravemente. I primi due sono già stati arrestati, e gli altri probabilmente lo saranno presto, ma che cosa credevano di fare?
