I spent a week cooking (for a group of French-speaking actors), I cannot type right anymore. If I was no good before, now I’m awful. And tired. It was an important experience, and we ate well, but it destroyed me, more or less. Moreover, I wanted to make a video out of it, working as I do on food as a theme of my art, I had it all planned since January, but I couldn’t, and had to make another. Totally different. Where it’s said that it’s not easy for anyone to live abroad.
But yes, now my French is even better than before, and I know catering is not going to be my next job. Even though I like cooking and eating and working on the theme of food.

Ho passato una settimana a cucinare (per un gruppo di attori di lingua francese), e non sono più capace di usare la tastiera del computer. Se prima ero pessima, adesso come dattilografa faccio spavento. E sono tanto stanca. E’ stata un’esperienza importante e abbiamo mangiato bene, ma sono quasi distrutta. Per di più, volevo fare un video di questa esperienza culinaria, dato che il cibo è uno dei temi della mia arte; l’avevo progettato fin da gennaio, ma non ci sono riuscita, e ho dovuto farne un altro. Del tutto differente. Dove si dice che vivere all’estero non è facile per nessuno.
Ma sì, adesso il mio francese è ancora migliore e finalmente so che non è il catering la mia professione alternativa. Per quanto mi piaccia cucinare e mangiare e lavorare sul tema del cibo.
