Una settimana buona, una cattiva, sembra essere la regola. Quando va bene. Un momento sembra che tutte le speranze comincino a diventare possibilità reali, l’altro crolla tutto. Certo, morire è peggio: dopo una delusione posso comunque insistere, cercare di andare avanti.

One good week, one bad, seems to be the rule. When it’s going well. One moment all hopes seem to be going to be fulfilled, the other one all breaks down. Sure, to die is worse: after a failure I can always insist, go on.
