L’altro video che ho finito in questi giorni, intitolato 24 ct, è sulle metafore dell’oro.
Avari o spendaccioni, incapaci di farci pagare o esosi, quasi tutti abbiamo un rapporto un po’ malato e difficile con il denaro, di cui l’oro è il sinonimo più nobile. Dal cuore generoso alla gallina con le sue preziose uova, in ogni cultura l’oro entra in molte espressioni, è un archetipo che come tutti i simboli ha valori negativi oltre che positivi. Questo breve e divertente lavoro è una pillola contro le nevrosi a proposito di soldi.
Sarebbe bello se guarisse anche l’economia, e le tasse che non devo, ma ci vuole altro che un video spiritoso.

The other video I finished last week is about gold metaphors. The title is 24 ct.
Stingy or squanderer, unable to obtain a just payment or mean, most of us have a sick, difficult relationship with money, of which gold is the noblest synonym. From the generous heart to the goose’s precious eggs, gold is present in idioms in every culture, it’s an archetype and like all symbols has negative as well as positive values. This short and amusing work is a pill against money neurosis.
How I’d love it to be able to cure economy, and those taxes I don’t owe, but for that much more than a funny video is needed.
