Se cerco online i versi di un poeta straniero nella sua lingua trovo i poemi e i commenti, ma prima di tutto i poemi. Se faccio la stessa ricerca su un poeta italiano trovo dei lunghi testi sui suoi poemi, che generalmente non citano neanche il poema. Presunzione o pigrizia? Immaginano forse che tutti lo sappiano a memoria?

If I search the web for verses of a foreign poet, I always find both the poems and the comments, but first of all the poems. If i make the same research about an Italian poet I find long essays on him, which usually don't even quote the poem. Arrogance or lazyness? Do they believe every reader to know that poet's work by heart?
