Il capc-musée d'art contemporain di Bordeaux è un posto molto bello e fa spesso mostre interessanti. Ci sono andata apposta per vederne una sul cibo, Hors d'oeuvre: ordre et désordres de la nourriture. Ma ci sono quasi solo i disordini e la putrefazione e la muffa, non c'è il piacere, mi sembra una scelta curatoriale puritana e moralista. In realtà erano stati previsti momenti di condivisione, ma ieri erano chiusi perché era un banale giorno feriale e questi eventi sono organizzati solo una volta al mese, dopo l'inaugurazione.
Ci sono anche ben tre artiste che presentano sculture di cioccolato, tre donne. Pare che alcune siano da mangiare, ma non ho osato, ma le altre sono lì solo da guardare, e non hanno nemmeno profumo. (Del resto tutta la mostra ha odore, ma nessuno gradevole.) Gli uomini hanno preferito la merda al cioccolato.

Bordeaux's capc-musée d'art contemporain is a beautiful place and their shows are often interesting. I went expressly to see one of them on food, Hors d'oeuvre: ordre et désordres de la nourriture. But there are mostly disorders and putrefaction and mold, there's no pleasure, I find it's a puritan and moralistic curatorial choice. Actually, some moments of togetherness were scheduled, but yesterday they weren't happening becauses it was a normal working day and these events are organized once a month, after the opening.
There were also three artists presenting chocolate sculptures, all of them women. Some are given to the public to eat, but I didn't dare, and the rest are just to look at, and they don't even smell good. (In fact the show smells, but never good.) Men preferred to work on shit instead of chocolate.
