Buttare i quadri che ormai mi sembrano croste è catartico. Sarebbe stato bello bruciarli, ma è troppo rischioso e poi non ho un camino. Né un giardino. Perché cambi davvero occorre una specie di cerimonia, un segno rituale. Invito a un frugale pranzo funebre un amico che mi aiuta.

To throw away paintings I don't like anymore is cathartic. I'd like to burn them, but it's too risky, without a chimney or a garden.
To make the change really meaningful I need a sort of ceremony, a funeral, some ritual. I have a friend for lunch, he helps me.
