Al Centre Pompidou c'è la mostra di un artista, Alain François, di 88 anni. Due anni fa gli è bruciato l'atelier, con dentro tutte le opere e le lettere e i libri di una vita. Si è affacciato alla finestra e ha visto l'incendio. Poi si è rimesso al lavoro.
Ricominciare subito, sempre, mi pare la cura migliore. Ma che coraggio, e quanti giovani non ne hanno altrettanto.

Centre Pompidou presents an exhibition of Alain François, an 88 years old artist. Two years ago his studio burned down, with all his works and books and letters. He saw the fire from his window. Then he started to work again.
Start again, that's the best cure. But how brave of him, and how many younger people aren't as brave.
