The gallery is little more than a phone booth, painted in white, with a shelf on which some machine makes some sounds. The installation is probably that sound, and three printed sheets pinned to the walls. The artists are two, and the work is very conceptual: they went around "Taking Pictures, Sharing Cameras", and then they made 38 invisible films with those photos, writing down the description of each frame.
Thus a book was born, and the only images in it are some failed photos, represented as black oblongs.

p.s.: The press release says the neon gallery in Bologna will show the videos and I almost regret it: the idea I saw one hour ago in Milan is wonderful like it is.

La galleria è poco più grande di una cabina telefonica, dipinta di bianco, con uno scaffale sul quale una macchina fa rumori. L'installazione consiste probabilmente di quei suoni e di tre fogli stampati appesi al muro. Gli artisti sono due e il lavoro è molto concettuale: sono andati in giro a fare foto scambiandosi la macchine, usa e getta, e poi hanno realizzato 38 film invisibili, scrivendo le descrizioni di ogni fotogramma. Ne è nato un libro d'artista in cui le uniche immagini sono le foto sbagliate, rappresentate come rettangoli neri, e il resto è testo.
