"Amo il mio paese perché dà i film in lingua originale", dice Nooteboom, scrittore e poeta olandese.

Io amo la Francia per lo stesso motivo, e perché non fanno quegli orribili intervalli per vendere qualche bibita e due gelati. Si trovano anche film doppiati, quelli per bambini, quelli d'azione, i telefilm; e non sono ben fatti come i nostri. Ma penso che in Italia i doppiatori sono così bravi perché negli anni mitici del cinema qualcuno ha pensato che da noi c'erano molti analfabeti, e non sarebbero potuti andare al cinema a leggere le didascalie. Non è ora di cambiare le cose? Non hai voglia di ascoltare le voci vere degli attori che ti piacciono? Non ti irrita sentire la stessa voce parlare con quattro o cinque facce?

"I love my country because films are given in the original version", says Nooteboom, a Dutch writer and poet.
I love France for the same reason, and because they don't break films in the middle to sell a few soft drinks and icecreams. There are dubbed films of course, cartoons, mass products, tv films, and they sound rather less good than in Italy. Then I think Italian dubbers are so good because in the mythical years of the cinema someone thought many people here were illiterate, and they couldn't go to a movie and read the captions. Isn't it time for a change? Don't you wish to hear the real voices of the actors you love? Aren't you tired to hear the same voice talking with four or five different faces?
