Percorrevo spesso lo stesso sentiero lungo la costa. Il primo giorno ho visto un paio di pantaloni e due chiavi. Ho immaginato che fosse andato a fare un'immersione. Il secondo giorno ero preoccupata, ho pensato che fosse annegato. Il terzo giorno, qualcuno aveva frugato nelle tasche, preso le chiavi, buttato i pantaloni da una parte.

I often walked on the same path along the coast. The first time I saw a pair of trousers and two keys. I imagined he was gone diving. The second day I worried, thought he had drowned. The third day, someone had looked in the pockets, taken the keys, thrown the pants away.
