Per quello che ne so io, non molto insomma, ci sono due parole praticamente uguali in ogni lingua: Mamma e No. Il suono del rifiuto è praticamente lo stesso ovunque. Sto lavorando da tempo, e spero di riuscire presto a finirlo, a un video sui modi per dire no e per proteggersi da eventi indesiderati. Per anni ho filmato e fotografato barriere di ogni tipo, realizzando anche en passant un'opera web sulle chiusure estive (http://urbang.be.tf). Il linguaggio del corpo, gli antifurti e le serrature, i semafori e le sbarre alle finestre: sono infiniti i dettagli che esprimono la paura dell'imprevisto. In definitiva, cerchiamo sempre di non pensare che la morte esiste.
