PARIGI, PLACE DES VOSGES
Qualcuno a Milano una sera diceva che Place des Vosges è il posto ideale per essere malinconici (è di quelli che fanno i disperati per sembrare più interessanti). Così mi torna in mente che l'estate scorsa
in quella piazza ho visto e filmato due ragazzini che cercavano di chiamare gli uccelli, tipo san Francesco. Lui era un bambino, meno di dieci anni, lei un'adolescente. Erano in piedi in mezzo al prato, con le braccia tese e qualche pezzo di pane. I passeri volavano fino alle loro mani. Però arrivavano anche molti piccioni, che alla ragazza non piacevano affatto, e allora giù calci. Proprio come san Francesco.
Peccato che siano due riprese troppo brevi per ricavarne un video, per quanto corto.

PARIS, PLACE DES VOSGES
At a party in Milan, someone tells me that Place des Vosges is the perfect place to be sad in (he's trying to be interesting). And that reminds me that last summer I saw and filmed there two youths trying to attract birds, saint-Francis like. He was a boy around ten, she was a teenager. They were standing in the middle of the lawn, arms outstretched and some bread. Birds came flying, but among them there were a lot of pigeons too. And the girl put a lot of effort in kicking them away. Just like saint Francis.
It was too short a scene, however, to make even the shorter video out of it
