A Parigi il primo maggio si vendono mughetti ovunque, li chiamano muguets de bonheur. In ogni piazza ci sono tre, cinque banchetti improvvisati: bambini e immigrati e gente di campagna e ambulanti con i loro mazzolini, spesso già appassiti. Per averne uno fresco ne ho dovuti comprare due.
L'anno scorso alla manifestazione gridavamo tutti "nous sommes tous des enfants d'immigrés, première, deuxième, troisieme génération". Quest'anno eravamo tutti al cinema
