Anthony McCall's installation at Hangar Bicocca, Milan, closed today.
"Breath" is a mystical experience, "like seeing the Holy Spirit descending on me", said a woman near me.
Light rays and clouds of dust, recreating in the air the ceilings of the churches where Correggio painted thick clouds for saints and angels to walk on. And this moving light cones give the air around me a thickness, walking through it is not like walking anywhere else.
